At some point, everybody that is into building muscle is going to want
to see it. Fat Loss Revealed is an excellent
resource for fat loss and muscle presevation, and comes highly recommend
from yours truly.
The chapters include: Supplements, Nutrition, Getting
Started,
The FLR Fat Loss Diet, Training, Aerobics, and a Bonus Section that
includes sample diets, recipes, and progress tracking. The
information is presented in a logical, easy-to-understand manner with
appropriate links to the Member's Zone. Personally, I believe
that the
Member's Zone is a big key to success. You can see what
questions
other people have, the issues they are running into, and how to
overcome plateaus in your fat loss. Of course, you can also
post your
own questions and have them answered by an industry expert.
Will Brink is a well-known author within the muscle building
community, having written articles for "Muscle and Fitness",
"Muscle Mag International", and many other well-known publications.
There is also a great deal of practical experience that goes
along with Will's resume. Not only is Will a top trainer for
building muscle, he is also one of the top fat loss coaches too.
While some of you may have read my review on his 632 page Bodybuilding Revealed (a must have
for any muscle
building library), Fat Loss Revealed
deserves special attention also. The ebook contains practical
information to get yourself into the 10% bodyfat range, and then
provides the advanced information needed to take bodyfat into the low
single digits. Couple the ebook with the members forum, and
you
have a winning combination of information, question/answer, and
community.
The
ebook is broken down into 4 seperate sections: Fat Loss Diet,
Supplement Reviews, Training and Cardio, Motivation and Goals.
Let's take a closer look at each of the sections:
Fat Loss Diet
The
fat loss diet isn't very complicated, but it is complete.
Will
provides some simple mathematical formulas to help you figure out how
many calories you should be eating, as well as macronutrient
proportions. You need not be a math major to figure out what
you
need, the Member's Zone provides a calorie planner that will help
figure out what you need based on your bodyweight, activity level, and
a few other factors.
Don't want to count calories? Neither
do I. However, everybody should count total calories and
macronutient grams/calories for at least 3 weeks. Most people
have absolutely no idea how much they are eating, and how big their
portion size really is. Counting calories will give you a
good
idea of exactly what is going into your body, and what is the impact of
your food choices. After about 3 weeks, you will be eating a
lot
more of the same food (with some variety still) and will have a good
idea of where you are calorie wise.
The Diet Planner is also
found on the Member's Zone and will help you arrange your menu
according to your caloric requirements. This will actually
take a
lot of the work out of counting calories for you, and is a great tool
for meal ideas.
Supplements
The Supplements
section of Fat Loss
Revealed
can easily pay for the ebook itself. Will Brink is a uniquely
qualified person to cut to the chase on what supplements are effective
and which ones are a waste of money. And by-the-way, most of
them
are a waste of money. The ebook starts by dissecting the
rhetoric
used in advertisements and commercials such as "proprietary blend",
"doctor recommended", etc. The purpose is to teach the
consumer
what to look for whenever an advertiser makes a claim, and what it
really means.
The ebook contains reviews of 40 supplements, and
the Member's Zone contains reviews of over 200 brand name supplements.
Personally, I like the supplement scorecard that is provided.
I'm not the kind of guy that likes to read through the
details on
200+ compounds. In fact, I just want the net of the

that is going to serve me the best. The supplement scorecard

what works, what might work, and what to NOT spend your money.
